Q: How do we book you as our celebrant? A: Simply reach out via my contact form to check availability. If I'm free on your date, we’ll book a call to chat about your day. Once you're ready, a deposit secures your spot — easy and stress-free. Q: How far in advance should we book you? A: Most couples book 12–18 months out, especially for peak dates (spring & summer on the Surf Coast or Bellarine). If your date is soon, still reach out — I may have availability! Q: Do you travel for weddings outside Geelong? A: Absolutely! I regularly officiate weddings in Lorne, Golden Plains, Surf Coast, and Bellarine. I also travel further across Victoria — just ask.
Q: What kind of celebrant are you? A: I’m a warm, modern celebrant who believes in real connection, relaxed ceremonies, and storytelling that reflects you. Whether you want something sweet and simple or rich with meaning, I craft it with heart and humour. Q: Will our ceremony feel personal or cookie-cutter? A: Every ceremony I create is bespoke. I’ll get to know you as a couple — your story, your vibe, your values — and turn that into a ceremony that feels truly you. Q: Can we include cultural traditions or rituals? A: Absolutely. I’m experienced in blending rituals, readings, and symbolic elements — from handfastings to acknowledgments of culture and family — to make your ceremony meaningful and inclusive.
Q: Are you a registered marriage celebrant in Australia? A: Yes, I’m authorised by the Attorney-General’s Department to legally marry couples anywhere in Australia. Q: What legal paperwork do we need to complete? A: You'll need to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before your wedding. Don’t worry — I guide you through every legal step, including identity documents and certificates. Q: Do you lodge all the legal documents for us? A: Yes. I’ll prepare, witness, and lodge all legal documents with Births, Deaths & Marriages so your marriage is officially recognised.
Q: Do you use a microphone or PA system? A: Yes — I bring a professional, wireless PA system with Bluetooth. Your guests will hear every word clearly, and you can also play your ceremony music through it. Q: What do you wear on the day? A: I dress with your vibe in mind! Always professional and polished, but also subtle so the focus stays on you. Let me know if you have a colour theme or style preference. Q: Will you help coordinate with our other vendors? A: Definitely. I work closely with your photographer, planner, and venue team to ensure smooth timing and a seamless experience.
Q: Do you offer MC services too? A: Yes! I’m also an experienced and engaging MC — perfect if you want one trusted, professional voice from ceremony through to the final dancefloor moment. Q: Can you help us write our vows? A: 100%! I offer guidance, examples, and coaching if you’re feeling nervous. Whether you write your own or want me to help shape your words — I’ve got you. Q: What happens after the ceremony? A: You get a keepsake ceremony script, all your legal paperwork is lodged, and I stay in touch until your marriage is officially registered. I’m with you every step of the way.
Q: We’re not sure what kind of ceremony we want. Can you help? A: Absolutely. I’ll guide you through all the options — from elopements to full celebrations — and tailor something that suits your style, energy, and love story. You don’t need to have it all figured out. That’s what I’m here for.
